Notaries are commissioned by the state to verify the identity of signers but not to validate document content. Notarization helps to speed up the probate process. Probate is the legal process by which a deceased person's assets are distributed to their heirs. The probate process can be lengthy and expensive. However, if the estate planning documents are notarized, the probate process can be expedited.


In estate planning one to two witness maybe required to attest deeds for Georgia properties, to attest wills, Power of Attorneys and other documents.

When a person is incarcerated, it is normally last minute with no time to handle business affairs. These affairs may require the need for notary services and because of limited access, you need an experienced and professional mobile notary.


Due to the requirement to surrender your driver's license or  I.D. often  the signing for inmates requires credible witnesses when they can not obtain possession of their qualifying identification. 


Please contact the facility or the intimates unit manager or point of contact to obtain details and ask about restrictions before booking. Some facilities have a notary on staff.  Non-staff notaries can be rejected from entering the facility. The requirements for notarization follow the same protocol no matter the location. The requester can meet us at the facility to provide documents but may not be allowed to enter at the time of the visit (emailing is preferred).
